The original engine was rebuilt to factory specs, as was the transmission. By the looks of this Pontiac's super-smooth finish, weeks alone were spent blocking and sanding every one of its panels in achieving this laser-straight collector-quality showpiece. Other features include body-color rearview mirrors, dual exhaust with chrome extensions, Safe-T-Track differential, rear spoiler, black grille, recessed dual-speed wipers with built-in washers, Endura front bumper, dual horns, soft-ray glass, hood decal, custom trim group (including trunk fitted floor mat), and door handle décor. Interior features include custom bucket seats, custom rear seat, custom carpets, Formula steering wheel, Rally gauges (including clock and tachometer), center console, ashtray lamp and stereo 8-track player. It has a documented correct EGR valve and distributor, LS2x intake manifold, matching VIN engine block and transmission, correct carburetor, correct exhaust manifolds, 455 SD V8 290hp at 4,000 rpm, 395 ft/lbs at 3,200 rpm. It sits on Rally ll wheels with trim rings and Goodyear white-letter tires as original equipment. Completely restored to new black interior with white seats (tuxedo) rare with this deluxe custom interior. It recently won a Gold Award at the 2015 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago, IL. Matching-numbers car utilizing many NOS parts, and one of only 731 automatic transmission Super Duties built in 1974. Built in Norwood, OH, this car was delivered to Bill Petty Motor Company in Union City, TN. It was previously owned and just underwent a professional, two-year, frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration by Super Duty expert Steve Schappaugh of Muscle Car Memories Restorations.
